S4W3W32N – Right-Hand Double Winder (180°) Staircase – No Handrails | Trade Range

The S4W3W32N Right-Hand staircase is a Trade Range double winder staircase designed to turn through a full 180 degrees without the need for a landing. With four goings before the turn and two goings after, the stair reverses direction within the stairwell, making it ideal for tight layouts where a straight or quarter-turn stair would not fit.

This version turns to the right as you ascend and is supplied without handrails, making it suitable for staircases enclosed by walls or where balustrade components will be installed separately.

Important stairwell opening requirement

Due to the geometry of this 180-degree double winder layout, a simple rectangular stairwell opening will not provide sufficient headroom.

To achieve the recommended 2.0m headroom, the stairwell opening must be formed as an L-shaped opening, following the direction of the stair as it turns. This additional opening length allows the required clearance above the winder section.
