S4W3W32N – Left-Hand Winding Staircase with Handrail & Balustrade | Trade Range

The S4W3W32N Left-Hand staircase is a Trade Range winding staircase designed to reverse direction through a full 180 degrees without the use of a landing. With four goings before the turn and two goings after, this double winder layout creates a flowing, compact stair ideal for restricted footprints.

Turning to the left as you ascend, this version is supplied with handrail and balustrade, making it suitable for open stairwells where safety, edge protection, and visual continuity are required.

Important note on stairwell opening & headroom

Due to the geometry of this winding staircase layout, a simple rectangular stairwell opening will not provide sufficient headroom.

To achieve the recommended 2.0m headroom, the stairwell opening must be formed as an L-shaped opening, following the direction of the stair as it winds. This should be considered at the design stage to avoid issues during installation.
