S4W3W32N – Left-Hand Double Winder Staircase (No Handrails) | Trade Range

The S4W3W32N Left-Hand winder staircase is a Trade Range solution intended for installations where a longer approach to the winder is required. With four goings before the turn and two goings after, this configuration shifts the winder section further into the stair run, making it well suited to certain compact floor plans.

This version turns to the left as you ascend and is supplied without handrails, making it ideal for staircases positioned between walls or where balustrade components will be fitted separately.

Important stairwell opening requirement (headroom)

Due to the geometry of the S4W3W32N layout, a simple rectangular stairwell opening is not sufficient to achieve compliant headroom.

To ensure the recommended 2.0m headroom, the stairwell opening will need to be formed as an L-shaped opening, following the direction of the stair as it turns. This allows the required clearance to be maintained above the winder section.
