The S4W3W32N Right-Hand staircase is a Trade Range winding staircase that turns through a full 180 degrees using a 6-tread double winder configuration. With four winder treads before the turn and two after, this layout reverses direction smoothly within a compact footprint, making it ideal where space is limited but stair comfort remains important.

Turning to the right as you ascend, this version is supplied with a handrail and balustrade, providing a complete solution for open stairwells where safety, edge protection, and visual continuity are required.

Important stairwell opening & headroom requirement

Due to the geometry of this 6-tread winder staircase, a simple rectangular stairwell opening will not provide sufficient headroom.

To achieve the recommended 2.0m headroom, the stairwell opening must be formed as an L-shaped opening, following the direction of the stair as it winds through the 180-degree turn. This should be allowed for at the design stage to ensure the staircase can be installed correctly.
